Action & Adventure
Most people consider the genres action and adventure as one type of genre. We cannot blame them though; action and adventure are indeed very similar together.
Action films give a strong impact on the audience because of constant dynamic scenes, usually spiced up by physical stunts, chase scenes, battles, and disasters. Meanwhile, adventure movies give the same impact, but they have more complex plots and changes in setting. Nevertheless, both genres are still meant to be combined together.
Here are the top five movies we highly recommend under the Action & Adventure genre:
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, loner Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), former loyal soldier Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron), and five beautiful wives become allies as they attempt to escape from the merciless warlord Immortan Joe. You will surely be breathless with the movie’s fast-paced, high-speed chase scenes.
Wonder Woman (2017)

It also has a sentimental factor because of the undeniable chemistry between Baby (Ansel Elgort) and Debora (Lily James). Its blend of unique cinematography and dark humor will keep you entertained until the credits.
The Dark Knight (2008)
Probably the best role of the late Heath Ledger, the Joker takes his love for anarchy to a whole new level by throwing Gotham City into total chaos just to destroy Batman (Christian Bale).
