Eyelash curlers are great for keeping lashes curled and looking nice. However, with frequent use, they can become coated with mascara which can attract bacteria and other powdered cosmetics. When that happens, they become inefficient in giving your lashes that lift you’re looking for.
With that, allow us to share with you some great tips on how to clean eyelash curler:
Use your makeup remover
Take a piece of cotton ball and moisten it with your eye makeup remover. If you don’t have one at home, you can use baby oil.
Use the piece of cotton ball to wipe off makeup from the metal bar as well as the rubber pad of your curler.
Get a bowl of water and add a few drops of liquid soap to it. Take a piece of soft cloth and dip it into the bowl of water. Make sure to wring out any excess water so that the cloth is only damp and not dripping wet.
Wipe off the residue of the makeup remover and mascara from the curler.
Then, rinse your eyelash curler under running water to get rid of the remaining soap residue. Be careful in letting any water get into the metal joints.
Once you are all done, you can wipe it dry with a clean towel.
